Russia (X tonnes) ranks second globally in matches exports with a X% share, following Indonesia (X%), Sweden (X%), Pakistan (X%), and Belarus (X%). South Africa (X tonnes), Brazil (X tonnes), Guatemala (X tonnes), Poland (X tonnes), Hungary (X tonnes), and China (X tonnes) took the mild share of total exports.
From 2007 to 2016, average annual rates of growth with regard to matches exports from India stood at +X%. These countries were followed by Russia, Indonesia, South Africa, Brazil, Hungary, Guatemala, Belarus, China and Poland, which together accounted for a further X%.
South Africa (+X% per year) recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the matches exports, in terms of the main exporting countries, over the last X year period, while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Matches Export Prices By Country
The average matches export price stood at $X per tonne in 2016, coming down by -X% against the previous year. In general, matches export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2010, when export increased by X% against the previous year level. Global matches export peaked of $X per tonne in 2011; however, from 2012 to 2016, it stood at a somewhat lower level.
Export prices varied noticeably by country of destination. the country with the highest export prices was Sweden ($X per tonne), while Belarus ($X per tonne) was among the lowest.
