Turkey Ferro Manganese Import Price in July 2023
In July 2023, the ferro manganese price amounted to $1,323 per ton (CIF, Turkey), shrinking by -7.7% against the previous month. Overall, the import price recorded a noticeable downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in January 2023 when the average import price increased by 28% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $2,229 per ton in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to July 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Norway ($1,750 per ton), while the price for Australia ($1,065 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
