France's Hydraulic Jack Price Reduces 2% to $118 per Unit
France Hydraulic Jack Export Price in August 2022
In August 2022, the hydraulic jack price stood at $118 per unit (FOB, France), which is down by -2.2% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2022 an increase of 7.1% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $121 per unit in July 2022, and then reduced modestly in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In August 2022, the country with the highest price was Italy ($235 per unit), while the average price for exports to Sweden ($61.3 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2022 to August 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Italy (+18.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In August 2022, overseas shipments of hydraulic jacks and hoists for raising vehicles decreased by -43.1% to 95K units, falling for the fifth consecutive month after three months of growth. Over the period under review, exports showed a abrupt setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2022 with an increase of 7.2% m-o-m. As a result, the exports attained the peak of 219K units. From April 2022 to August 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, hydraulic jack exports dropped rapidly to $11M (IndexBox estimates) in August 2022. In general, exports showed a deep downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2022 when exports increased by 14% against the previous month. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $23M. From April 2022 to August 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

Sweden (23K units), Germany (21K units) and Belgium (13K units) were the main destinations of hydraulic jack exports from France, together accounting for 59% of total exports.
From January 2022 to August 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Sweden (with a CAGR of -0.6%), while the other leaders experienced a decline.
In value terms, Germany ($2.5M), Sweden ($1.4M) and Belgium ($1.4M) were the largest markets for hydraulic jack exported from France worldwide, together accounting for 47% of total exports.
Among the main countries of destination, Sweden, with a CAGR of +0.3%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced a decline.
