The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of X%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

Ecuador (X tons), Colombia (X tons) and Chile (X tons) were the main destinations of unvulcanized rubber exports from Venezuela, with a combined X% share of total exports.

In general, imports, however, recorded a deep contraction. Imports peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, unvulcanized rubber imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a dramatic descent. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2021, Hong Kong SAR (X tons) constituted the largest unvulcanized rubber supplier to Venezuela, accounting for a X% share of total imports. Moreover, unvulcanized rubber imports from Hong Kong SAR exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Malaysia (X tons), eightfold.
