From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to France totaled +1.8%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: the Netherlands (+58.7% per year) and Italy (-57.2% per year).

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 when imports increased by 12% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, kiwi fruit imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Overall, total imports indicated a prominent increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +6.4% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +44.5% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 25% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

Italy (X tons), New Zealand (X tons) and Greece (X tons) were the main suppliers of kiwi fruit imports to Switzerland, together accounting for 89% of total imports.
