Exports from China increased at an average annual rate of +X% from 2007 to 2017. At the same time, the Netherlands (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, the Netherlands emerged as the fastest growing exporter in the world, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2017. Germany experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, South Africa (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2007 to 2017, the share of South Africa increased by X% percentage points, while the Netherlands (-X%) and China (-X%) saw their share reduced. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest manganese supplier from Spain, making up X% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by the Netherlands ($X), with a X% share of global exports. It was followed by South Africa, with a X% share.
In China, manganese exports remained relatively stable over the period from 2007-2017. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: the Netherlands (+X% per year) and South Africa (-X% per year).
Manganese Export Prices by Country in Spain
In 2017, the manganese export price in Spain amounted to $X per tonne, rising by X% against the previous year. In general, manganese export price continues to indicate a moderate deduction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017, an increase of X% y-o-y. Over the period under review, the export prices for manganese reached its maximum level of $X per tonne in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2017, it failed to regain its momentum.
Average export prices varied somewhat amongst the major exporting countries. In 2017, major exporting countries recorded the following export prices: in Germany ($X per tonne) and China ($X per tonne), while the Netherlands ($X per tonne) and South Africa ($X per tonne) were amongst the lowest.
From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of export prices was attained by South Africa (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.
Manganese Imports into Spain
In 2017, the amount of manganese imported into Spain totaled X tonnes, falling by -X% against the previous year. In general, manganese imports continue to indicate a mild downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2011, with an increase of X% y-o-y. In that year, the manganese imports attained their peak volume of X tonnes. From 2012 to 2017, growth of the manganese imports stood at a somewhat lower level.
In value terms, manganese imports totaled $X in 2017. In general, manganese imports continue to indicate a significant decline. Spain imports peaked of $X in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2017, it failed to regain its momentum.
Manganese Imports by Country into Spain
The imports of the five major importers of manganese, namely South Korea, India, Japan, Russia and Germany, represented more than two-thirds of total import. The U.S. (X tonnes) held a X% share (based on tonnes) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by the Netherlands (X%). Austria (X tonnes), Brazil (X tonnes), Taiwan, Chinese (X tonnes), Belgium (X tonnes) and France (X tonnes) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of imports, amongst the main importing countries, was attained by India (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, South Korea ($X), Japan ($X) and Russia ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2017, with a combined X% share of total imports.
Russia (+X% per year) experienced the highest growth rate of imports, in terms of the main importing countriesover the last decade, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Manganese Import Prices by Country in Spain
The manganese import price in Spain stood at $X per tonne in 2017, jumping by X% against the previous year. Overall, manganese import price continues to indicate a measured contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017, when the import prices increased by X% against the previous year. Spain import price peaked of $X per tonne in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2017, it failed to regain its momentum.
Import prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest import price was France ($X per tonne), while India ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.
From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of import prices was attained by Russia (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the import price figures.
