Non-Frozen Orange Juice Exports by Country in Southern Asia

Pakistan prevails in non-frozen orange juice exports structure, finishing at X tonnes, which was approx. X% of total exports in 2017. The following exporters - Bhutan (X tonnes) and Bangladesh (X tonnes) together made up X% of total exports.

Over the period under review, the export prices for unconcentrated orange juice (excluding frozen) attained its peak figure level of $X per tonne in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2017, it failed to regain its momentum.

There were significant differences in the average export prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2017, the country with the highest export price was Bhutan ($X per tonne), while Bangladesh ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of export prices was attained by Bhutan (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

The imports stood at X tonnes in 2017, shrinking by -X% against the previous year. The non-frozen orange juice imports continue to indicate a moderate shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2008, when imports increased by X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, the non-frozen orange juice imports attained its maximum volume of X tonnes in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2017, it failed to regain its momentum.

In value terms, non-frozen orange juice imports amounted to $X in 2017. The non-frozen orange juice imports continue to indicate a noticeable drop. In that year, the non-frozen orange juice imports reached their peak level of $X. From 2015 to 2017, growth of the non-frozen orange juice imports stood at a somewhat lower level.

Non-Frozen Orange Juice Imports by Country in Southern Asia

Maldives (X tonnes) and Pakistan (X tonnes) represented roughly X% of total imports of unconcentrated orange juice (excluding frozen) in 2017. Sri Lanka (X tonnes) took the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Bangladesh (X tonnes) and India (X tonnes). All these countries together held near X% share of total imports.

From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of imports, amongst the main importing countries, was attained by Maldives (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the imports figures.

In value terms, Pakistan ($X), Maldives ($X) and Sri Lanka ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2017, together comprising X% of total imports.

In terms of the main importing countries , Maldives (+X% per year) recorded the highest growth rate of imports, over the last decade, while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the imports figures.

Non-Frozen Orange Juice Import Prices by Country in Southern Asia

In 2017, the non-frozen orange juice import price in Southern Asia amounted to $X per tonne, going up by X% against the previous year. The non-frozen orange juice import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015, an increase of X% y-o-y. In that year, the import prices for unconcentrated orange juice (excluding frozen) reached their peak level of $X per tonne. From 2016 to 2017, growth of the import prices for unconcentrated orange juice (excluding frozen) failed to regain its momentum.

Import prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest import price was Sri Lanka ($X per tonne), while Maldives ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of import prices was attained by Bangladesh (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
