The non-frozen orange juice exports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2008, when exports increased by X% year-to-year. In that year, the non-frozen orange juice exports attained their peak volume of X tonnes. From 2009 to 2017, growth of the non-frozen orange juice exports failed to regain its momentum.

In value terms, non-frozen orange juice exports amounted to $X in 2017. The non-frozen orange juice exports continue to indicate a mild slump. The level of exports peaked of $X in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2017, it stood at a somewhat lower level.

Non-Frozen Orange Juice Exports by Country in the EU

In 2017, Belgium (X tonnes), distantly followed by the Netherlands (X tonnes), Germany (X tonnes) and Spain (X tonnes) were the largest exporters of unconcentrated orange juice (excluding frozen), together comprising X% of total exports. Austria (X tonnes), Denmark (X tonnes) and the UK (X tonnes) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of exports, amongst the main exporting countries, was attained by the UK (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Belgium ($X), the Netherlands ($X) and Germany ($X) were the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2017, together comprising X% of total exports. Spain, Austria, the UK and Denmark lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X%.

Austria (+X% per year) recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the last decade, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Non-Frozen Orange Juice Export Prices by Country in the EU

The non-frozen orange juice export price in the European Union stood at $X per tonne in 2017, increasing by X% against the previous year. The non-frozen orange juice export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2011, when the export prices increased by X% y-o-y. In that year, the export prices for unconcentrated orange juice (excluding frozen) reached their peak level of $X per tonne. From 2012 to 2017, growth of the export prices for unconcentrated orange juice (excluding frozen) failed to regain its momentum.

Average export prices varied somewhat amongst the major exporting countries. In 2017, major exporting countries recorded the following export prices: in the Netherlands ($X per tonne) and Belgium ($X per tonne), while Spain ($X per tonne) and Austria ($X per tonne) were amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of export prices was attained by Spain (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the export price figures.

In 2017, non-frozen orange juice imports in the European Union stood at X tonnes, shrinking by -X% against the previous year. The total import volume increased an average annual rate of +X% from 2007 to 2017; the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations in certain years. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013, when imports increased by X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, the non-frozen orange juice imports attained its peak figure volume of X tonnes in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2017, it failed to regain its momentum.

In value terms, non-frozen orange juice imports stood at $X in 2017. The total import value increased an average annual rate of +X% over the period from 2007 to 2017; the trend pattern remained consistent, with only minor fluctuations being observed in certain years. Over the period under review, the non-frozen orange juice imports attained its maximum level of $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2017, it stood at a somewhat lower level.

In that year, the import prices for unconcentrated orange juice (excluding frozen) reached their peak level of $X per tonne. From 2012 to 2017, growth of the import prices for unconcentrated orange juice (excluding frozen) stood at a somewhat lower level.
