Over the period under review, exports attained the peak figure at X tonnes in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2020, exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, unwrought silver exports dropped to $X in 2020. Overall, exports recorded a slight reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2011 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2020, exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Indonesia was the key exporting country with an export of about X tonnes, which resulted at X% of total exports. Singapore (X tonnes) occupied a X% share (based on tonnes) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Thailand (X%). The Philippines (X tonnes) and Malaysia (X tonnes) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2007 to 2020, the biggest increases were in Thailand, while shipments for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the exports figures.

In value terms, Indonesia ($X), Singapore ($X) and Thailand ($X) were the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2020, together comprising X% of total exports.

In value terms, unwrought silver imports declined slightly to $X in 2020. Overall, imports saw a relatively flat trend pattern.
