Total exports indicated a buoyant expansion from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +6.3% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, exports decreased by -8.4% against 2018 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by 33%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Malaysia (X tons) and Thailand (X tons) dominates exports structure, together constituting 92% of total exports. Indonesia (X tons), Vietnam (X tons) and Singapore (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Vietnam (with a CAGR of +13.7%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Thailand ($X) remains the largest textile rubber hose supplier in South-Eastern Asia, comprising 58% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Malaysia ($X), with a 29% share of total exports. It was followed by Indonesia, with a 5.6% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in Thailand amounted to +9.4%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Malaysia (+0.7% per year) and Indonesia (+26.4% per year).

The export price in South-Eastern Asia stood at $X per ton in 2021, reducing by -4.1% against the previous year. Over the last nine-year period, it increased at an average annual rate of +4.1%. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 11%. Over the period under review, the export prices attained the maximum at $X per ton in 2020, and then declined modestly in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Indonesia ($X per ton), while Malaysia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

In 2021, Indonesia (X tons), distantly followed by Thailand (X tons), Singapore (X tons), the Philippines (X tons), Vietnam (X tons) and Malaysia (X tons) were the key importers of rubber hose reinforced with textiles, together creating 98% of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the key importing countries, was attained by Malaysia (with a CAGR of +12.1%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest textile rubber hose importing markets in South-Eastern Asia were Indonesia ($X), Thailand ($X) and Vietnam ($X), together accounting for 77% of total imports. These countries were followed by Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines, which together accounted for a further 22%.
