In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest hairpin supplier from Puerto Rico, comprising 62% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by South Korea ($X), with a 7% share of global exports. It was followed by the UK, with a 3.5% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in China totaled +5.7%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: South Korea (+0.3% per year) and the UK (+6.7% per year).
