Over the period under review, the average import prices for beer made from malt (excluding non-alcoholic beer) reached their maximum at $X per tonne in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2018, import prices failed to regain their momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2018, the country with the highest price was Mexico ($X per tonne), while the price for France ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.
