Overall, exports, however, showed a mild decrease. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of X% year-to-year. The volume of export peaked at X tonnes in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2020, exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, preserved asparagus exports dropped to $X in 2020. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a perceptible curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2010 with an increase of X% y-o-y. Over the period under review, exports reached the maximum at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2020, exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2020, Turkey (X tonnes) was the largest exporter of preserved asparagus, mixing up X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by the United Arab Emirates (X tonnes), making up a X% share of total exports. Lebanon (X kg) held a minor share of total exports.

Turkey was also the fastest-growing in terms of the preserved asparagus exports, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007 to 2020. the United Arab Emirates (-X%) and Lebanon (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
