Brazil prevails in exports structure, reaching X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2022. Argentina (X tons), Chile (X tons) and Uruguay (X tons) held a minor share of total exports.
Brazil experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of exports of processed meat. At the same time, Uruguay (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Uruguay emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in MERCOSUR, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Argentina (X%) and Chile (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons, and then contracted remarkably in the following year.
In value terms, processed meat imports fell to $X in 2022. Total imports indicated prominent growth from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade.
