The following importers - Costa Rica (X tons) and Honduras (X tons) - each amounted to a X% share of total imports.
Imports into Chile increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2023. At the same time, Costa Rica (X%), Haiti (X%), Venezuela (X%), Honduras (X%) and El Salvador (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Costa Rica emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2023. Haiti (X p.p.), Venezuela (X p.p.) and Costa Rica (X p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Chile saw its share reduced by X% from 2012 to 2023, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Venezuela ($X), Haiti ($X) and El Salvador ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2023, together comprising X% of total imports. Chile, Costa Rica and Honduras lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X%.
