The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, exports increased by +47.8% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 57%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X units. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, non-enclosed loudspeakers exports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate a perceptible shrinkage. The exports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Exports by Country

Poland (X units), Mexico (X units) and Hungary (X units) were the main destinations of non-enclosed loudspeakers exports from Indonesia, together accounting for 56% of total exports. Russia, South Korea, Vietnam, India, the United States, Japan, Germany, Hong Kong SAR and Singapore lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 29%.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Russia (with a CAGR of +60.0%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Poland ($X), Mexico ($X) and Hungary ($X) were the largest markets for non-enclosed loudspeakers exported from Indonesia worldwide, together accounting for 48% of total exports. These countries were followed by Russia, the United States, Vietnam, South Korea, India, Japan, Germany, Singapore and Hong Kong SAR, which together accounted for a further 30%.

In terms of the main countries of destination, Vietnam, with a CAGR of +55.8%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average non-enclosed loudspeakers export price stood at $X per unit in 2021, picking up by 4.8% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, saw a pronounced reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 6% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a noticeable slump. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, non-enclosed loudspeakers imports surged to $X in 2021. Overall, total imports indicated a notable expansion from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +2.0% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports decreased by -19.1% against 2018 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 42% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2021, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of non-enclosed loudspeakers to Indonesia, accounting for a 72% share of total imports. Moreover, non-enclosed loudspeakers imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Vietnam (X units), sixfold. Thailand (X units) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 10% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of volume from China was relatively modest. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Vietnam (+11.9% per year) and Thailand (-4.0% per year).
