In value terms, dried apricot imports stood at $X in 2017. In general, dried apricot imports continue to indicate a conspicuous growth. India imports peaked of $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2017, it stood at a somewhat lower level.
Dried Apricot Imports by Country into India
In 2017, the U.S. (X tonnes), followed by the UK (X tonnes), Russia (X tonnes), Ukraine (X tonnes), Germany (X tonnes), France (X tonnes) and Algeria (X tonnes) represented the largest importers of dried apricots, together constituting X% of total imports. Kazakhstan (X tonnes), Australia (X tonnes), Iraq (X tonnes), Egypt (X tonnes) and Brazil (X tonnes) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of imports, amongst the main importing countries, was attained by Algeria (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest dried apricot markets worldwide were the U.S. ($X), the UK ($X) and Germany ($X), with a combined X% share of total imports. France, Russia, Australia, Brazil, Kazakhstan, India, Algeria, Ukraine, Egypt and Iraq lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.
Algeria (+X% per year) recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the last decade, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Dried Apricot Import Prices by Country in India
The dried apricot import price in India stood at $X per tonne in 2017, going up by X% against the previous year. In general, the import price indicated a remarkable expansion from 2007 to 2017: its price increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2017 figures, the dried apricot import price decreased by -X% against 2015 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013, an increase of X% year-to-year.
