In 2018, the amount of iron oxides and hydroxides imported into France amounted to X tonnes, rising by X% against the previous year. Overall, iron oxide pigments imports, however, continue to indicate a pronounced shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of X% year-to-year. Imports peaked at X tonnes in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2018, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, iron oxide pigments imports amounted to $X in 2018. Over the period under review, iron oxide pigments imports, however, continue to indicate a moderate descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, iron oxide pigments imports reached their peak figure at $X in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2018, imports failed to regain their momentum.
