Portugal, with a CAGR of +3.7%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced a decline in the exports figures.

The export price in Europe stood at $X per ton in 2022, leveling off at the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.2%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when the export price increased by 24%. Over the period under review, the export prices attained the maximum in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was France ($X per ton), while Greece ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
