From 2012 to 2023, average annual rates of growth with regard to trailer and semi-trailer imports into the UK stood at X%. At the same time, Ireland (X%), Germany (X%), Croatia (X%), Belgium (X%), France (X%), the Czech Republic (X%), the Netherlands (X%), Ukraine (X%) and Poland (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. The UK, France, Belgium, Ukraine, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Ireland, Croatia and Greece lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.

Ireland, with a CAGR of X%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Import Prices by Country

The import price in Europe stood at $X per unit in 2023, surging by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a mild reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when the import price increased by X%. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($X per unit), while Greece ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
