Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at X units in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, passenger car tyre exports contracted remarkably to $X in 2022. Overall, exports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

In 2022, Sierra Leone (X units), Senegal (X units) and Ghana (X units) was the largest exporter of tyres for motor cars in ECOWAS, committing X% of total export. Gambia (X units) took the next position in the ranking, followed by Guinea (X units) and Mali (X units). All these countries together held approx. X% share of total exports. Cote d'Ivoire (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.
