Russia, with a CAGR of +11.9%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Romania (X tons) held a relatively small share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to fish fillets and other fish meat imports into Poland stood at +1.8%. At the same time, Belarus (+7.6%), Romania (+4.6%), the Czech Republic (+3.2%) and Lithuania (+1.7%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Belarus emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Eastern Europe, with a CAGR of +7.6% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Ukraine (-3.5%) and Russia (-5.4%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
