The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of X%. The volume of export peaked at X units in 2022, and then declined remarkably in the following year.

In value terms, trailer and semi-trailer exports skyrocketed to $X in 2023. Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate a buoyant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure in 2023 and are likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.

Exports by Country

Poland prevails in exports structure, resulting at X units, which was near X% of total exports in 2023. Estonia (X units) held the second position in the ranking, followed by Lithuania (X units), the Czech Republic (X units), Hungary (X units) and Slovakia (X units). All these countries together held approx. X% share of total exports. Bulgaria (X units) took a relatively small share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2023, average annual rates of growth with regard to trailer and semi-trailer exports from Poland stood at X%. At the same time, Bulgaria (X%), Lithuania (X%) and Hungary (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Bulgaria emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Eastern Europe, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2023. Estonia experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, the Czech Republic (X%) and Slovakia (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Imports in Eastern Europe

In 2023, imports of cargo trailers and semi-trailers in Eastern Europe contracted notably to X units, falling by X% against the year before. Overall, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2021 to 2023, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, trailer and semi-trailer imports reached $X in 2023. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern.
