In 2021, the export price in Central Asia amounted to $X per ton, waning by -3.2% against the previous year. Export price indicated perceptible growth from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.6% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, semi-chemical fluting export price decreased by -7.8% against 2018 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the export price increased by 24%. From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Kazakhstan amounted to -8.4%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Mongolia (+60.4% per year) and Uzbekistan (-23.9% per year).

The import price in Central Asia stood at $X per ton in 2021, rising by 50% against the previous year. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, import price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
