Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in years to come.

In value terms, room deodorants exports surged to $X in 2021. Overall, exports posted a significant increase. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Total imports indicated a remarkable increase from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +5.9% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +40.4% against 2014 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 31%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 with an increase of 53% against the previous year. The level of import peaked in 2021 and is likely to continue growth in the near future.

Uzbekistan (X tons) took a 15% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Turkmenistan (6.3%), Kyrgyzstan (5.9%), Mongolia (5.6%) and Tajikistan (5.2%).
