In value terms, kiwi fruit exports expanded remarkably to $X in 2020. In general, exports recorded a perceptible increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2011 when exports increased by X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2020, exports remained at a lower figure.

Argentina (X tonnes), Marshall Islands (X tonnes) and Panama (X tonnes) were the main destinations of kiwi fruit exports from Brazil, together comprising X% of total exports. These countries were followed by Liberia, Hong Kong SAR, Paraguay, Singapore, Malta, Bahamas, Norway, Greece, Denmark and Cyprus, which together accounted for a further X 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Paraguay, while exports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Argentina ($X), Marshall Islands ($X) and Liberia ($X) were the largest markets for kiwi fruit exported from Brazil worldwide, together accounting for X% of total exports. These countries were followed by Hong Kong SAR, Panama, Singapore, Malta, Bahamas, Norway, Denmark, Cyprus, Greece and Paraguay, which together accounted for a further X the main countries of destination, Paraguay recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average kiwi fruit export price stood at $X per tonne in 2020, surging by X% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed a remarkable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when the average export price increased by X% year-to-year. The export price peaked in 2020 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest price was Denmark ($X per tonne), while the average price for exports to Paraguay ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Paraguay, while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
