These countries were followed by Ukraine, Argentina, Canada, Germany, Romania, Hungary, the UK, Denmark and Kazakhstan, which together accounted for a further X experienced the highest rates of growth with regard to exports, among the main exporting countries over the last eleven years, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The barley export price in Bangladesh stood at $X per tonne in 2018, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous year. Overall, the barley export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, the export prices for barley reached their maximum at $X per tonne in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2018, export prices failed to regain their momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2018, the country with the highest price was Canada ($X per tonne), while Ukraine ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.
