The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 with an increase of X%. The exports peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.
Exports by Country
Slovakia (X kg) was the main destination for aircraft propeller exports from Azerbaijan, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, aircraft propeller exports to Slovakia exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, the Netherlands (X kg), sevenfold.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Slovakia was relatively modest.
In value terms, Slovakia ($X) emerged as the key foreign market for aircraft propeller exports from Azerbaijan, comprising X% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by the Netherlands ($X), with a X% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Slovakia was relatively modest.

The average aircraft propeller export price stood at $X per ton in 2021, falling by -X% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a abrupt slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when the average export price increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2019 to 2021, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In 2021, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Slovakia amounted to $X per ton.

In 2021, purchases abroad of propellers and rotors for civil non-powered aircraft, helicopters and aeroplanes was finally on the rise to reach X kg for the first time since 2017, thus ending a three-year declining trend. In general, imports, however, saw a dramatic decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, aircraft propeller imports contracted to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
Imports by Country
In 2021, Slovakia (X kg) constituted the largest aircraft propeller supplier to Azerbaijan, accounting for a X% share of total imports. Moreover, aircraft propeller imports from Slovakia exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, the United Arab Emirates (X kg), threefold. The third position in this ranking was occupied by Russia (X kg), with a X% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume from Slovakia was relatively modest. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: the United Arab Emirates (-X% per year) and Russia (-X% per year).
In value terms, the United Arab Emirates ($X) constituted the largest supplier of aircraft propeller to Azerbaijan, comprising X% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Russia ($X), with a X% share of total imports. It was followed by the United States, with a X% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value from the United Arab Emirates amounted to +X%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Russia (-X% per year) and the United States (-X% per year).
Import Prices by Country
In 2021, the average aircraft propeller import price amounted to $X per ton, with a decrease of -X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded strong growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when the average import price increased by X%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per ton, and then dropped significantly in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per ton), while the price for Ukraine ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United Arab Emirates (+X%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
