In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest digital data processing machine supplier in Asia, comprising 76% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Taiwan (Chinese) ($X), with an 11% share of total exports. It was followed by Singapore, with a 5.8% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in China totaled +3.3%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Taiwan (Chinese) (+10.8% per year) and Singapore (+3.8% per year).

The export price in Asia stood at $X per unit in 2021, shrinking by -15.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when the export price increased by 26% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export prices hit record highs at $X per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Malaysia ($X per unit), while Thailand ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

In 2021, imports of digital data processing machines: presented in the form of systems in Asia expanded sharply to X units, increasing by 6.9% on the previous year. In general, imports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 20% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a pronounced curtailment. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when the import price increased by 5.6% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Indonesia ($X per unit), while Qatar ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Singapore (+8.8%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
