Electric Locomotive Market Size in the Netherlands

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2020, the country with the highest price was Malaysia ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Germany ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Malaysia (+X% per year), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

Imports into the Netherlands

In 2020, electric locomotive imports into the Netherlands contracted remarkably to X units, falling by -X% on the previous year. Over the period under review, imports, however, enjoyed a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units. From 2018 to 2020, the growth imports remained at a lower figure.
