Urea Price in Slovenia (CIF) - 2023
The average urea import price stood at $490 per ton in September 2023, increasing by 19% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, showed a noticeable reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2022 an increase of 77% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $1,091 per ton. From December 2022 to September 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was Latvia ($612 per ton), while the price for Italy ($385 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Romania (+11.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
Urea Price in Slovenia (FOB) - 2023
The average urea export price stood at $504 per ton in September 2023, dropping by -1.9% against the previous month. In general, the export price recorded a noticeable shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2023 an increase of 21% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $789 per ton in November 2022; however, from December 2022 to September 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was Slovakia ($1,124 per ton), while the average price for exports to Serbia ($452 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Slovakia (+4.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
