Nucleic Acids Price in Peru (CIF) - 2021

The average nucleic acids import price stood at $6,862 per ton in April 2020, reducing by -55.1% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price faced a abrupt contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2020 when the average import price increased by 22% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $15,286 per ton in March 2020, and then contracted notably in the following month.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Uruguay ($24,451 per ton), while the price for China stood at $6,085 per ton.

From January 2020 to April 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Uruguay (+6.2%).

Nucleic Acids Price in Peru (FOB) - 2022

The average nucleic acids export price stood at $4,388 per ton in 2022, with a decrease of -6.8% against the previous year. In general, the export price faced a deep contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when the average export price increased by 58%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $16,768 per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Colombia ($217,500 per ton), while the average price for exports to Ecuador ($3,597 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Colombia (+43.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Nucleic Acids Imports in Peru
