Uncured Cheese Price in Guatemala (CIF) - 2023
In October 2023, the average uncured cheese import price amounted to $2,290 per ton, falling by -42.7% against the previous month. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a abrupt slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2023 when the average import price increased by 12% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $4,297 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to October 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was Mexico ($6,801 per ton), while the price for Honduras ($798 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Mexico (+2.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Uncured Cheese Price in Guatemala (FOB) - 2022
