Television Receiver Price in Peru (CIF) - 2021
In April 2020, the average television receiver import price amounted to $236 per unit, shrinking by -13.8% against the previous month. Over the period from January 2020 to April 2020, it increased at an average monthly rate of +3.1%. The growth pace was the most rapid in February 2020 when the average import price increased by 22% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $274 per unit in March 2020, and then dropped in the following month.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Mexico ($359 per unit), while the price for China stood at $140 per unit.
From January 2020 to April 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Mexico (-0.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
Television Receiver Price in Peru (FOB) - 2021
In February 2020, the average television receiver export price amounted to $300 per unit, with an increase of 206% against the previous month. In general, the export price showed a significant expansion. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Chile.
From January 2020 to February 2020, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Chile amounted to +198.5% per month.
Television Receiver Imports in Peru
In 2022, the amount of television receivers imported into Peru declined to 3.1M units, waning by -5% against the year before. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a abrupt shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 11%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at 3.8M units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, television receiver imports fell to $481M in 2022. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 35%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $552M, and then fell in the following year.

Television Receiver Exports in Peru
In 2022, exports of television receivers from Peru rose markedly to 6.8K units, increasing by 14% on 2021. In general, exports showed a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 125%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 8.2K units. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.
