Television Receiver Price in Croatia (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average television receiver import price amounted to $200 per unit, approximately equating the previous year. In general, import price indicated slight growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.9% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, television receiver import price increased by +87.6% against 2020 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average import price increased by 86%. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $236 per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Slovakia ($436 per unit), while the price for China ($24 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Hungary (-0.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
Television Receiver Price in Croatia (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average television receiver export price amounted to $292 per unit, shrinking by -12.5% against the previous year. Over the period under review, export price indicated a moderate increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.5% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, television receiver export price increased by +30.6% against 2020 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 58% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $436 per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Austria ($420 per unit), while the average price for exports to Italy ($188 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+21.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Television Receiver Imports in Croatia
In 2022, overseas purchases of television receivers decreased by -14% to 904K units, falling for the second year in a row after two years of growth. Overall, imports, however, recorded resilient growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when imports increased by 117%. As a result, imports reached the peak of 1.7M units. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, television receiver imports dropped to $181M in 2022. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +2.2% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern remained consistent, with only minor fluctuations in certain years. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 17% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $208M, and then dropped in the following year.

In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 39% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 363K units. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, television receiver exports contracted dramatically to $78M in 2022. Overall, exports saw a mild curtailment. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 15% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $93M, and then dropped sharply in the following year.
