Television Receiver Price in Belarus (FOB) - 2022
In March 2022, the average television receiver export price amounted to $166 per unit, surging by 61% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, continues to indicate a deep downturn. The export price peaked at $530 per unit in November 2021; however, from December 2021 to March 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Russia.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Russia amounted to -5.2% per month.
Television Receiver Price in Belarus (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average television receiver import price amounted to $287 per unit, increasing by 66% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a perceptible curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 134% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $372 per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($604 per unit), while the price for Hong Kong SAR ($3.7 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Russia (+4.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
Television Receiver Exports in Belarus
In 2022, shipments abroad of television receivers decreased by -5.8% to 1.5M units, falling for the second consecutive year after two years of growth. Over the period under review, exports saw a deep contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when exports increased by 6.5%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 2.1M units. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, television receiver exports skyrocketed to $315M in 2022. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate significant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 68% against the previous year. The exports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
