The average spices; mixtures import price stood at $7,203 per ton in May 2023, rising by 15% against the previous month. Over the period from May 2022 to May 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.0%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2022 when the average import price increased by 27% month-to-month. The import price peaked in May 2023.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In May 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($14,776 per ton), while the price for India ($4,833 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
