The average spices; mixtures export price stood at $3,720 per ton in June 2023, rising by 14% against the previous month. Overall, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 when the average export price increased by 77% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure in June 2023.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Poland ($5,516 per ton), while the average price for exports to Curacao ($2,420 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+3.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Overall, import price indicated a pronounced expansion from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +4.3% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, spices; mixtures import price increased by +55.9% against May 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 an increase of 57% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $3,391 per ton in October 2022; however, from November 2022 to June 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Belgium ($7,417 per ton), while the price for Poland ($1,509 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+6.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
