Slaked Lime Price in Australia (CIF) - 2023
The average slaked lime import price stood at $184 per ton in July 2023, approximately reflecting the previous month. Over the period from July 2022 to July 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.1%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in April 2023 an increase of 36% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $233 per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to July 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($253 per ton), while the price for Thailand ($145 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Vietnam (+4.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
Slaked Lime Price in Australia (FOB) - 2022
The average slaked lime export price stood at $1,978 per ton in 2022, picking up by 265% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a strong expansion. The export price peaked at $3,685 per ton in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
