In August 2023, the average seals; mechanical export price amounted to $26.4 per unit, approximately reflecting the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in November 2022 when the average export price increased by 69% month-to-month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $32.2 per unit. From December 2022 to August 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($76.7 per unit), while the average price for exports to Poland ($9.9 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+20.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
