The average salts; molybdates import price stood at $19,267 per ton in June 2023, with an increase of 57% against the previous month. Overall, the import price enjoyed mild growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in December 2022 when the average import price increased by 103% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $26,442 per ton. From January 2023 to June 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was China ($20,207 per ton), while the price for India ($17,296 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by India (+8.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for the United States.
From August 2022 to June 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for the United States amounted to +3.4% per month.
