Pumps; Parts Thereof Price in Nigeria (CIF) - 2022

In 2022, the average pumps; parts thereof import price amounted to $15,022 per ton, falling by -13.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, enjoyed a measured expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when the average import price increased by 60% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $28,136 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($167,000 per ton), while the price for India ($4,453 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the UK (+22.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 71% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $28,220 per ton. From 2016 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($115,413 per ton), while the average price for exports to Benin ($646 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+6.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
