Printed Circuit Price in Turkey (CIF) - 2022

The average printed circuit import price stood at $0.2 per unit in 2022, increasing by 9% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a slight decline. The import price peaked at $0.2 per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Thailand ($0.2 per unit), while the price for China totaled $0.2 per unit.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (-0.5%).

Printed Circuit Price in Turkey (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average printed circuit export price amounted to $0.2 per unit, shrinking by -2.2% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 an increase of 73% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $0.4 per unit. From 2020 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($0.4 per unit), while the average price for exports to Slovenia ($0.2 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belgium (+3.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Printed Circuit Imports in Turkey

After three years of growth, overseas purchases of printed circuits decreased by -12.5% to 798M units in 2022. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +8.7% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 22% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of 913M units, and then declined in the following year.

In value terms, printed circuit imports dropped to $140M in 2022. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +10.7% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 19% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $146M, and then declined modestly in the following year.

Printed Circuit Exports in Turkey

Printed circuit exports from Turkey stood at 49M units in 2022, approximately mirroring the year before. The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of +11.2% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 21% against the previous year. The exports peaked in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in years to come.

In value terms, printed circuit exports shrank to $11M in 2022. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when exports increased by 21%. The exports peaked at $16M in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.
