In June 2023, the average zinc; waste and scrap export price amounted to $1,124 per ton, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous month. Overall, the export price saw a mild decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 when the average export price increased by 144% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $1,819 per ton in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to June 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for India.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Singapore amounted to +0.2% per month.
