Based on 2022 figures, export price for zinc; bars, rods, profiles and wires decreased by -32.5% against 2014 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 41%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $1,234 per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Aruba.

From 2012 to 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Aruba amounted to +2.8% per year.

In 2022, approx. 21 tons of zinc; bars, rods, profiles and wires were imported into Venezuela; with an increase of 53% compared with the previous year.
