The average import price for wine; still, in containers holding 2 litres or lesses stood at $9.9 per litre in January 2024, reducing by -11.5% against the previous month. Overall, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in August 2023 an increase of 11% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $11.6 per litre in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to January 2024, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The export price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Singapore ($432 per litre), while the average price for exports to Germany ($19 per litre) was amongst the lowest.
