In November 2023, the average import price for wine; still, in containers holding 2 litres or lesses amounted to $2.2 per litre, with an increase of 15% against the previous month. Over the period under review, import price indicated a mild expansion from November 2022 to November 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.8% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on November 2023 figures, import price for wine; still, in containers holding 2 litres or lesses decreased by -3.2% against September 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 an increase of 27% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $2.7 per litre in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to November 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2023 when the average export price increased by 23% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $6.0 per litre in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to November 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($16.7 per litre), while the average price for exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina ($3.8 per litre) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Sweden (+6.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
