Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $1,495 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to September 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was Argentina ($1,277 per ton), while the price for Chile amounted to $1,264 per ton.

From February 2023 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Netherlands (+66.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
