In November 2023, the average import price for vegetables; olives, provisionally preserved but unsuitable in that state for immediate consumptia amounted to $2,652 per ton, dropping by -29.2% against the previous month. Overall, the import price recorded a pronounced curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in August 2023 when the average import price increased by 48% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $3,906 per ton. From September 2023 to November 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Spain ($15,550 per ton), while the price for the Netherlands ($2,568 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
