In 2022, the average uncooked pasta containing eggs export price amounted to $1,286 per ton, increasing by 1.5% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a perceptible descent. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 11% against the previous year. Average prices varied somewhat for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the countries with the highest prices were the United Arab Emirates ($1,622 per ton) and Japan ($1,527 per ton), while the average price for exports to Singapore ($1,185 per ton) and the Philippines ($1,262 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Japan (+3.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
